I've recently discovered the VenicePrject. That's the most mistified project ever! :) I wasn't able to find a thing about what it is exactly. Only that the guys who started Skype are behind it. They say it's something like p2p video streaming, but I know there are plenty p2p solutions available today already..like http://octoshape.com ..Well when Skype was starting there were already some VoIP messengers, so who knows..
If anybody is interested, you can start searching an info about the project here.

If you find anything, please post a comment here! I am really curiouse about it.

octoshape and venice project are not such new things, if you are TVKoo user, who could enjoy hundreds of channels with quality as good as TV set, especialy the mivie channels.
I think you might take a look on it.
thanks for the comment.
If anybody is interested info on TVKoo can be found here.

They seem to be Chineese company, so I had to search a bit to find that English description:).
Yeah, I agree they do look cool. But what's the biggest drawback for p2p streaming is double bandwidth for the clients. So if you're viewing some p2p stream you will have to stream double (in and out).
Thanks again fro the info. I beleive there are some others p2p services. I was just wondering what are these guys from Skype up to.
